Cooking and eating together
This is my second year in Dali. Since coming to Dali, I cook for myself during the day. As a person from the Northwest, after getting tired of Yunnan Bai cuisine and rice noodles, I eventually chose to cook for myself. What I cook depends entirely on my mood at the time. I often cook in a bold and rough manner, maybe not exquisite, but hearty and delicious enough.
Going to the meadow to play baseball
Earlier, I studied at university in Wuxi, and then worked. In my spare time from work, I often played baseball with friends. When I first got into this sport, I actually played wiffle ball with my former college classmates.
Compared to real baseball, this sport is simpler and easier to learn. It has similar rules to baseball but without much danger. Later, after learning some baseball rules and knowledge, I developed the desire to learn this sport. It is relatively niche in China compared to other ball sports. By chance, I joined a club and learned more baseball skills. After coming to Dali, I actively searched for new baseball organizations. At the end of 2024, I joined a rising team - Cloud Baseball and Softball Club.
I love this sport. It's not just a physical exercise; it also requires thinking. It demands high cooperation and tacit understanding among teammates. Baseball is not an individual sport but the result of teamwork. Every time we score against opponents, I feel extremely excited and thrilled. I enjoy that feeling.
The Cloud Baseball and Softball Club I belong to can fully meet the needs of daily training and matches. It also has a professional coaching team, where both the pitching and catching coaches and the hitting coaches have rich teaching experience and professional qualifications.
The fee includes basic baseball instruction, equipment and venue provision, a home-cooked meal, and transportation to the baseball field and the bar.
