18The first stop in Dali was a pleasant surprise – the scenery was healing, the captain was attentive and professional, and we tried different water activities, very fulfilling!
Thank you, Lele was very happy. Today she independently participated in TIE's sailing activity and had a blast. It's probably one of the happiest memories of her childhood!
Captain Cihang speaks softly but you can feel his strength. He guides with great patience, is very calm, and naturally says encouraging words and little truths. The kids loved it and were very happy. I didn't want to try it, but Captain Cihang and my daughter both encouraged me to give it a go. And hey, even though I only got to be a little captain for a short while, it made me feel one with nature, to feel the wind, and learn how to balance with it. I think sailing and I will definitely have a next chapter...
The two kids mastered the basic techniques in one afternoon. Good timing, good weather, good coach. The gentle breeze and good mood all came naturally. Growth is the same.
Such a serene and fabulous afternoon - thank you so much Tue Travelling in China with 4 young kids and not knowing the language fluently has not been easy. We were over an hour late to do the sailing. Captain Tie and his team were amazing with their hospitality and generosity in coming to pick us up, provide an amazing afternoon tea and gently guide us all from a place of stress to a space of relaxation and serenity. We all had a fabulous time doing the outdoor water activities and just chilling out with Tie, his family and friends, including the beautiful dog Yuan Bao. A highlight of our trip, would highly recommend. To top it off, some beautiful professional photos sent to us. A big thank you to- hope we can meet again
Highly recommend the water experience at Cangshan Hiking Photography Home! Today, I took my 5-and-a-half-year-old child to Chaimiduo Farm, and we didn't want to go home! Under the blue sky and white clouds, Cangshan and the lotus pond formed a picturesque scene—every shot was a masterpiece! The experience activities were super rich, including sailing, paddleboarding, and kayaking. My child chose sailing and kayaking and had a blast! The biggest surprise was that under the patient guidance of Coach Lini, my child could actually sail independently and operate the boat skillfully! It is said that Lini has years of experience in early childhood education, and he really understands children. With fun interactions and patient guidance throughout, he completely sparked my child's interest in sailing. I plan to have my child learn it systematically when possible! Although the farm is small, it is full of surprises—a perfect experience! I'll come back next time to unlock more activities! I hope my child can live a free and unrestrained life like a captain.
A very rare experience, lots of fun, absolutely worth trying.
Great sailing experience, the kids were very happy.
Tie is very nice and friendly, makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. Great experience! Recommended for those who enjoy driving!
Quiet water surface, green lotus flowers, a grand view of Cangshan. Small sailboats bring endless freedom to kids and dogs. Captain Cihang and his assistant were very patient. Sailing, kayaking, and paddleboarding made for a happy afternoon. Also, the pears Cihang brought were very sweet. Five-star recommended activity.
A very pleasant experience, three generations of our family all had a great time.
It drizzled in the morning, but luckily it cleared up after 10. The kids tried OP sailing, kayaking, and paddleboarding and had so much fun they didn't want to leave. Great experience.
Captain Tie and Teacher Lini were very warm and attentive! A wonderful sailing experience and a very happy afternoon. Highly recommend!
Great sailing experience.
I heard about Captain Tie in an interview on Little Universe and learned about this sailing experience in Dali. I was super excited to try it. I went straight from Dali high-speed rail station to the farm and started the experience in the afternoon. The captain is very nice and calm. After a brief chat, he mostly let me just sit and experience it. Waiting for the wind, paddling, drifting—everything was slow. With Cangshan Mountain in front, the cloudy weather was super comfortable, and no sunscreen needed. (So the weather had its own plan.) Along the way, we accidentally drifted into a lotus patch, so we just rested and enjoyed the breeze. I felt closer to those who sail the open seas—Life of Pi, Benjamin. I'm not into sports and a bit afraid of water, but I played all afternoon and really loved it.
Today was so much fun, looking forward to the official photos and videos Sailing felt more like being a captain First time trying it, didn't expect it to be this interesting. My sister preferred kayaking, it's more direct, so we switched to kayaking halfway We missed the last wind, next time I definitely want her to experience a sailboat with wind.
The host of yesterday's activity: Captain Tie, who has participated in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, owns his own sailboat, is restoring a 1939 classic wooden sailboat, and now offers OP sailing experiences at Dali Caimiduo Farm. Gunbao tried: sailing, kayaking, and sailing to retrieve a drifting kayak. I tried: sailing, going against the wind, and losing to the wind. Afterwards, we ate at Cuican Restaurant, which has been open for ten years next to the farm. The food and scenery were great, and the owner even picked some peaches for us. Unfortunately, we couldn't join the bonfire activity at Caimiduo Farm in the evening—such a pity. We'll make up for it next time.
