Lao Shuai | Blooming Flowers, Waiting for a Breeze - About Blossom Bikes
In 2013, after finishing my teaching volunteer work, I set off alone from Lincang, Yunnan, heading into Tibet via the Bing Cha Cha route, then taking the Xinjiang-Tibet Highway to Xinjiang, followed by the Hotan-Alar Highway across the Taklamakan Desert, and then the Duku Highway over the Tianshan Mountains, riding all the way back to my home in Shihezi, Xinjiang. That was the longest cycling trip of my life so far; the cyclometer recorded a total distance of 6,732 kilometers over 90 days.
