Learned and experienced cocktail making with Teacher Xiaoyang. Gained so much—I'm already planning to buy equipment and try it at home. This city dweller felt immense happiness... Teacher Xiaoyang is gentle, beautiful, and highly professional (could she be an ENTJ?!). The first time we met, she whispered, "You're so beautiful..." She's also a super brave girl. The world belongs to the brave—how wonderful. I met an interesting friend and learned a bit of cocktail making. I drank everything I made. Mixing cocktails is really fun; you constantly imagine different flavors, even if your hand-eye coordination isn't great... you anticipate the final taste... like a palette of colors that ends up mixing into a "colorful black." Participating in Teacher Xiaoyang's cocktail class became the highlight of this trip to Dali. Wow, Teacher Xiaoyang is young but has very rich bartending experience and a solid theoretical foundation! He was patient throughout, always smiling. It was a wonderful memory. My kids and I had our first experience mixing cocktails, acting as bartenders. Both the kids and I were very happy.
Today I took my kid to Teacher Mi'er's cocktail-making class and learned a lot. Gained a relatively deep understanding of cocktails, and also tried my hand at mixing two special drinks. Really enjoyed the whole process.
Finding Your Own Speed and Passion in Laid-back Dali Dali, a place everyone sees, talks about, and imagines as slow-paced, yet on this day with Xiaoyang, I found its unique speed and passion. On a sunny afternoon, on a lawn filled with floral fragrance, accompanied by the Dali breeze, I played baseball for the first time—a wonderful and magical feeling. Squatting, stepping sideways, rotating the waist, swinging the bat, hitting, running the bases—all in one fluid motion, without hesitation or delay. Every movement, every breath was so focused. Shouting, cheering, catching out—every collision, every cheer was full of energy. The air here was filled with the hormones of sports! In the evening, we went to Xiaoyang's Shuangyan Bar. Under the dim lights and with blues music playing, it was again about focusing on every precise step: measuring liquor, chipping ice, pouring into glasses—smooth and effortless, just to find that unique, mysterious flavor of your own! This is Xiaoyang—a gentle and cute-looking girl from the northwest, but cool and sharp in her words and actions. With her exquisite cooking skills, cool driving skills, and professional guiding abilities, she gave me a different day, showed me a different Dali, and made me fall in love with the unique team of Cangshan Hiking Home!
